ChatGPT
ChatGPT’s Developer Mode adds custom MCP connectors, point one at the Creatorland Data MCP and the OAuth flow handles the rest.
Setup
ChatGPT
Loading setup…
- Who it’s for
- Anyone running ChatGPT on a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, or Edu) with Developer Mode on.
- Compatibility
- Custom MCP connectors live behind ChatGPT’s Developer Mode (shown in some workspaces as “apps”), available on Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, and Edu — not the free tier. On Team and Enterprise an admin enables it under Workspace Settings → Connectors; then add the server under Settings → Apps & Connectors using the server URL. Developer Mode surfaces every tool the server lists (no search/fetch shape required), so all of the Creatorland read tools appear.
- Verify the connection
- After you sign in with your Creatorland account, your tools appear in the client, scoped to your account. If the list comes back empty, that signals the email you signed in with has no Creatorland account yet, create one (or sign in with the right one) at creatorland.com and reconnect. An empty list still confirms the OAuth handshake succeeded and you’re pointed at the right server.
Troubleshooting
- No “custom connector” option? Developer Mode isn’t on — on Team / Enterprise an admin enables it under Workspace Settings → Connectors first.
- Free ChatGPT can’t add custom connectors; you need a paid plan.
- An empty tool list after the OAuth consent means the email you signed in with has no Creatorland account yet — create one free and reconnect.
