Windsurf
Windsurf supports custom MCP servers via Settings → Cascade, paste the Creatorland server URL and Cascade handles the OAuth flow.
Setup
Windsurf
Loading setup…
- Who it’s for
- Developers running Windsurf (Codeium’s IDE) with Cascade for agentic workflows.
- Compatibility
- Windsurf supports custom MCP servers via Settings → Cascade → MCP Servers → Add server, or by editing `~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json` directly. Both shapes accept a remote HTTPS URL with OAuth.
- Verify the connection
- After you sign in with your Creatorland account, your tools appear in the client, scoped to your account. If the list comes back empty, that signals the email you signed in with has no Creatorland account yet, create one (or sign in with the right one) at creatorland.com and reconnect. An empty list still confirms the OAuth handshake succeeded and you’re pointed at the right server.
Troubleshooting
- After adding or editing the server in `mcp_config.json`, restart Cascade (or relaunch Windsurf) so the new server is registered.
- If Cascade reports the server as unreachable after a successful OAuth flow, verify your network allows outbound HTTPS to `mcp.creatorland.com`.
- Windsurf shows server-status indicators in the Cascade panel, a green dot next to “creatorland” means the server is ready to call.
