How outreach works

Most creator-data tools stop at the list. Creatorland closes the loop: once your agent has a shortlist, the request_creator_connection tool reaches the creator for you, runs a polite follow-up sequence, reads the reply, and brokers the introduction, all without handing the creator’s contact details to the brand before they agree to talk.

That last part is the whole design. Outreach is double opt-in by construction: the creator’s identity and contact are never revealed to you until they say yes. You reach them respectfully through Creatorland’s matchmaker; they decide whether to open the door.

The flow

You request a connection

Your agent calls request_creator_connection with the creator and an opportunity: the campaign type, comp, budget band, timeline, and an optional note in your own words. It costs 10 credits per creator, charged once for everything that follows. You get back a reference to track it, and you never get the creator’s address.

The matchmaker reaches out, two front doors

Creatorland’s matchmaker sends a short email from matchmaker@creatorland.com introducing your opportunity, and (on by default) fires an in-platform connection request. That gives the creator two ways to say yes: accept the in-app request, or simply reply to the email. Either one counts as consent.

A polite, self-halting sequence

If there is no reply, the matchmaker follows up on Day 3 and Day 7, three touches in total, and then stops. The sequence auto-halts the instant the creator replies, accepts, or declines. No reply by the end of the window simply closes the loop. A creator can opt out at any point, and that is honored before any further send.

On a yes, the matchmaker brokers the intro

When the creator agrees, the matchmaker opens a joint introduction: a new thread with you and the creator both on it, or a connected in-app chat. Members are introduced directly; creators not yet on Creatorland get a one-minute path to claim their profile on the way in. This is the first and only moment the creator’s contact reaches you, and only because they chose it.

What’s exposed, and when

The exposure is deliberately asymmetric. Your requester profile link always goes out, so the creator can see exactly who is reaching them before they decide. The creator’s identity and contact stay private until they say yes. The status tools reflect the same floor: they return a simple status, one of in_progress, interested, connected, or closed, so you always know where an outreach stands without ever seeing a contact detail.

Opting out

Every outreach carries a working opt-out, both per-brand (“not interested in this brand”) and global (“pause all hiring outreach”). Opt-outs are checked before every send and honored immediately, so a creator who steps back is never contacted again through this channel. Reaching people respectfully is the point; it is what keeps the door worth knocking on.

What it costs

Outreach is Pro-only (the creator_connections entitlement). On a plan without it, the tool answers with a note on how to upgrade rather than an error. Reaching a creator is 10 credits, once, covering the full Day 0, 3, and 7 sequence, the reply monitoring, and the intro. Tracking an outreach with the status tools is always free. See the credits page for the full price index, or the tools reference for the exact tool contracts.
