Prerequisites

You need an MCP-capable client and a Creatorland account. When you sign in, Creatorland connects your account and applies the free tier: 250 credits a month, no card required.

Any of these clients work:

Claude (Team / Enterprise via claude.ai, or Free / Pro via the Claude desktop app)
Claude Code (the CLI agent)
ChatGPT (Developer Mode) and Grok, on their paid plans
Cursor, Codex, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and others that speak MCP

Your Creatorland account

The free tier is self-serve. There is no waitlist and no form. When you connect and sign in, Creatorland applies 250 free credits a month to your account.

Use the same email for Creatorland and your MCP connection. If you already have a Creatorland account, you are set. If not, create one free first, then come back to connect.

Connect your client

Here is the Claude setup path. Other MCP-capable clients follow the same pattern.

Claude

Team, Enterprise (claude.ai), open Claude → Settings → Connectors and add the Creatorland Data MCP connector.

Free, Pro (Claude desktop), Claude desktop → Settings → Connectors → add a custom connector.

Authenticate with the Creatorland account that owns your MCP subscription. The OAuth flow is interactive, click through the consent dialog in the browser when prompted.

Other clients follow the same pattern: add the Creatorland MCP server URL, then sign in with your Creatorland account. Use the client-specific guides for Cursor, Codex, VS Code, and the rest.

Authenticate

Authentication happens in your browser. When your AI client opens the consent page, sign in to Creatorland, approve the connector, and return to your client.

If Claude Desktop does not open the consent page, check the troubleshooting guide for the manual authorization URL.

Confirm the connection

After you sign in, your AI client should show the Creatorland MCP tools available to your account.

If no tools appear, make sure you signed in with the same email you used for Creatorland. If needed, create a free Creatorland account with that email, then reconnect.

To verify the connection, ask your client to list available tools. Then run a simple creator profile or creator search request. The tools reference walks through inputs and response shapes.
